NAVI, NIP and FaZe qualify for the IEM Rio Major

Based on the results of matches at the European RMR tournaments on October 6, the first European teams to qualify for the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 were established.

In European RMR A Ninjas in Pyjamas and FaZe Clan were the first teams to win 3 matches. With a 3-0 record, NIP and FaZe are guaranteed Legend status at the IEM Rio Major.

Ninjas in Pyjamas consecutively defeated Astralis, Bad News Eagles and Cloud9. FaZe beat Team GamerLegion, Fnatic and Sprout on their way to the Major.

In European RMR B so far, only one team has earned a slot in the IEM Rio Major as a Legend - NAVI. The team has beaten Illuminar Gaming, MOUZ and Outsiders.

RMR tournaments will run through Oct. 9 inclusive. The IEM Rio Major begins October 31 and runs through November 13.
